ChezFridge is a mobile application that helps users track food inventory, plan meals, and reduce food waste. We are based in Cameroon. You can contact us at tanejuth@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, name, and profile picture when you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Twitter/X.
• Household data: number of adults and children, country, preferred language, and LLM model preference.
• Fridge inventory: food items, quantities, expiry dates, and categories you enter manually.
• Usage data: AI feature usage, credit transactions, and meal plans created within the app.
• Device token: Expo push notification token for sending expiry alerts (optional, requires permission).
• Payment data: mobile phone number used for Mobile Money transactions. We do not store card numbers or bank details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the ChezFridge service.
• To personalise AI meal suggestions based on your household profile.
• To process credit purchases via Mobile Money.
• To send push notifications about expiring food items (with your consent).
• To respond to support requests.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Google Sign-In — optional social login.
• Facebook Login — optional social login.
• Twitter/X Login — optional social login.
• OpenAI / Anthropic — AI language models for meal suggestions. Your fridge data may be sent to these providers to generate responses.
• Nkwa Pay — Mobile Money payment processing for Cameroon.
• Expo — push notification delivery.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party providers listed above as necessary to operate the service, or when required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the Data Deletion page or by emailing us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at tanejuth@gmail.com.

8. Children's Privacy

ChezFridge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of ChezFridge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
