Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using ChezFridge, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The Service

ChezFridge provides fridge inventory tracking, AI-powered meal planning, shopping list generation, and food waste analytics. Some features require AI credits purchased through the app.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. You may not share your account with others.

4. Credits & Payments

  • AI credits are purchased via Mobile Money (MTN / Orange Cameroon) through Nkwa Pay.
  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.
  • Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • Prices are displayed in USD and may change with notice.
  • We are not responsible for failed Mobile Money transactions caused by your network operator.

5. AI-Generated Content

Meal suggestions and shopping lists are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute nutritional or medical advice. Always use your judgement when preparing food, especially regarding allergies and dietary restrictions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or its content.
  • Use automated scripts to abuse AI credit usage.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within ChezFridge is owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

ChezFridge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including losses from spoiled food or AI-generated meal advice.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Data Deletion page.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cameroon.
